Karim Benammar

Are you able to challenge your own assumptions?

Sometimes a radically different perspective can open up surprising new possibilities.

Think about it: can you always rely on data? Do we really need every rule or ritual we follow? Is the customer (or your best friend) always right? Is input really the same as output?

In this interactive talk, Karim playfully helps you look at familiar issues from a fresh angle. Through his interactive talk, one-on-one conversations, and discussion in a relaxed bar setting, you’ll explore how much of what we take for granted is actually based on assumptions, and how questioning them can spark new ideas, insights, and ways of seeing the world.

Dr. Karim Benammar (1966) is a philosopher specialising in transformative thinking. Barbue Bar at the Hoxton-Lloyd

Barbue Bar inhabits the former booking office of The Hoxton, Lloyd — a space where history meets the hum of contemporary cocktail culture. Inspired by South America’s bares notables, its menu carries Argentinian flair and golden-age elegance crafted by Tato Giovannoni. With its soaring ceilings, mezzanine views, and warm evening energy, Barbue transforms into a gathering place that invites slow conversation and shared discovery.
